The Chinese quarter is a charming place located close to the center, which extends between Moscova and the Monumental Cemetery and has its hub in the famous Via Paolo Sarpi. It is a district now perfectly integrated into the city life and culture, but still retains in the streets its characteristic colors, the scents of oriental spices, posters and signs in ideograms. A place that is definitely worth a visit, if you want to immerse yourself at least for a while in an alternative Milan between ravioli, bubble tea and small shops.
A walk in the Chinese quarter is in itself suggestive, for the particular atmosphere of the place. The many shops in Milan’s Chinatown are one of the most popular shopping destinations in Milan, where you can do real business. We also recommend taking a trip to the Oriental Mall, a five-story mall where you can buy spices, matcha, seaweed, tofu and all the typical products, and to Kathay Food, the largest ethnic supermarket in Italy.
